We prefer to use meat from 'happy' animals that have been correctly housed, allowed to roam and treated well. We are not an advocate of 'organic' meat', we believe this can be misleading and does not always mean the animals are well cared for. We can supply a number of traditional and rare breeds such as Tamworth and Sandy & Black pigs.
We believe in sourcing produce locally and aline our menus to follow seasonal availability. We have aslo built a network of local butchers, bakers and greengrocers to supply stock at events around the country.
On the A35 east of Dorchester we also run a cafe/farm shop which sells free-range produce as well as delicious food. Almost all the produce is sourced within a 25 mile radius even the ice-creams! All tea and coffee is Fairtrade.
As we are involved with a number of high profile events and feed crowds of people we are regularly inspected by local health authorities. Based in Dorset we are registered with West Dorset and have a 4 star rating. We are also registered with NCASS the Nationwide Caterers Association . All relevant HACCP documentation and certification is available to view on line.
